6. Results and discussions
The results showed that, the “A”, “B” and “C” cases, distinguished
from each other solely by the reinforcement, presented similar
mechanical behavior. In these cases, the internal instability of the
structural member was triggered at the extent that the load inten-
sity hit the value around 900 kN. The equilibrium configuration at
this level of loading may be represented graphically from the stress
